Pooler is one of the fastest growing cities in Georgia. Its population climbed roughly 40 percent over the past decade. New subdivisions and commercial pads keep going in, and the wooded parcels between them keep shrinking. Watson Outdoor Living does land clearing on lots like those across Chatham County. We are based in Statesboro, and we take jobs on the Pooler side. The drive down I-16 runs under an hour. Call or text CJ at (912) 712-6034 and he will come look at your property. Estimates are free.
Pooler sits low. Most of the ground here is about 20 feet above sea level. The soil is sandy coastal plain, and the flat spots hold water after a hard rain. Pines, palmetto, and thick underbrush take over any lot left alone. We work parcels around Godley Station, along Pooler Parkway, and out toward Pine Barren Road. Some are a half acre behind a new house. Others run several acres of standing timber waiting on a building pad. Sometimes the fix is forestry mulching, which cuts the growth down into mulch and leaves it on the ground. Sometimes the trees and stumps have to come out and get hauled off. We look at the lot and tell you which one fits.

Most Pooler jobs start with CJ looking at the lot in person. He marks what stays and what comes out. Wet ground and driveway access change the plan the most. On a wooded parcel we drop the big trees first, then work the smaller growth.
The CAT 265 track loader runs a forestry mulcher head and a root rake grapple. The mulcher cuts standing brush and small trees down into mulch. The grapple pulls roots and piles wood for haul off. The CAT 308 excavator handles tree removal and digs stumps out whole. Stumps come up roots and all, then go on the trailer and leave the property.
Pooler keeps growing, and the growth pushes into the woods around it. The city has road work moving on Quacco Road, Pine Barren Road, and Benton Boulevard. New roads pull new houses, and new houses need cleared ground. That leaves odd wooded pieces sitting between finished neighborhoods.
Builders and owners call us to open a lot for a house, a shop, or a pad. Others want the underbrush knocked back along a fence line so they can see the ground again. When the dirt needs shaping after the trees are gone, we follow with grading and leveling.
