These are the questions Southeast Georgia landowners ask us most: what we
handle, clearing versus mulching, what things cost, and when to
schedule. Don't see yours? Call and ask the family directly.
We work out of Statesboro and cover about 50 miles in every direction. That takes in Bulloch, Candler, Evans, Screven, Emanuel, Toombs, Bryan, Effingham, Chatham and Liberty counties, from Brooklet and Metter out to Savannah, Pooler and Hinesville. If you are close to that circle, call and we will tell you quickly if we can get there.
What services do you offer?
Land clearing, forestry mulching, brush and underbrush clearing, tree removal, stump removal, excavation, grading and leveling, dirt work, and small residential demolition like sheds and old driveways. Most projects combine two or three of those, and the same two machines handle the whole list in one mobilization.
Do you grind stumps?
No. We remove stumps a different way: the CAT 308 excavator digs the whole stump out, roots included, and we haul it off and backfill the hole. You end up with clean ground you can build on, pour over, or replant. If grinding is truly the better fit for your job, we will say so.
How much does land clearing cost?
It depends on the acreage, how thick the growth is, how wet the ground runs, and what happens to the debris. A real number takes a look at the property, so estimates are free and happen on site. For market ballparks, our land clearing cost guide on the blog covers what Georgia jobs typically run.
What is the difference between land clearing and forestry mulching?
Land clearing removes trees and brush entirely and leaves open, workable dirt that is ready for grading or a pad. Forestry mulching grinds brush and small trees where they stand, and the mulch stays down as ground cover, so nothing gets burned or hauled. We run both and will tell you which one your property calls for.
What equipment do you run?
A CAT 265 compact track loader that swaps between a forestry mulcher head and a root grapple, and a CAT 308 excavator for trees, stumps, digging and loading. Debris leaves on our dump trailer. That pair covers everything from a fence line to a full lot.
Can you take a wooded lot all the way to build-ready?
Yes. Clearing, stump removal, rough grading and pad work are all our jobs, so a wooded parcel can go to a build-ready site in one project instead of three contractors. Tell us what you are planning to put on the land and we will clear and shape it with that end in mind.
How do I get started?
Call or text (912) 712-6034, or send the form on this page. We will talk through the job, come look at the property, and get you a free estimate. You will be dealing with the owner who runs the machines, start to finish.
